Dubbed to be “poisoning people with literacy” in his community, Mr M. Fauzi always brings along a selection of books on his motorcycle while he’s out selling jamu (Indonesian traditional herbal drink) on the streets of Sukorejo village.
This is only one of his many programs–the latest being “buku masuk warung”–he created for Taman Ilmu Masyarakat, the library he managed since 2011, where our Eco-Education Center is located. Through his bold move and creative approach, we hope the community will be “poisoned” by eco-education, too!
This Eco-Education Center’s funding is made possible by Zelena pro Indonesii (Green for Indonesia) crowdfunding campaign at Hithit.com.
Generous donation from supporter like you have funded more than 80 Eco-Education Centers across Indonesia. Join the movement by donating today.
