015 / Denpasar, Bali – Community Eco-Library
“Every day is a holiday in Bali” surely is not applicable to the natives who live in poverty and have to work on the streets.
Through its Street Kids Informal School program, Bali Life Street Kids Center aims to get children off the streets and empower them with education five days a week, while their mothers make handicrafts and jewelry in Bali Life Women’s Workshop to earn a living.
Our Eco-Library will provide environmental reading materials in Bahasa Indonesia to help these kids reach not only literacy, but also eco-literacy.
Previous supporters have funded more than 60 Eco-Libraries across Indonesia. You can join the movement by donating today.
