The Eco-Education Center will be located at the school library. However this library is also open for the public, villagers of all ages come here.
Mr. Rondi is a teacher and school library manager. He is also a social worker, he guides some farmer groups. Especially elderly female farmers are given workshops about how to optimize their land as garden to grow something with economic value, such as: chilli, vegetables, etc.
The problem here is deforestation that causes the land to become dry. It’s difficult to get water in the dry season.
Besides cleaning the community area, schools and mosques people plan on setting up a school garden and greening the village area. Therefore information about permaculture would be much appreciated.
