Irene Panggabean, is one of the grade 11 students in SMA Cahaya Medan, North Sumatera. She is the coordinator of the class to manage the Zero Waste Program and supervised by her Teacher Pak Herianto.
For her, coordinating the Zero Waste School Program is something that is really fun to do. As a class coordinator, Irene also try to facilitating her friend to find the best time to do all the activities, from this she also learn how to be a leader.
She and her classmates are also really interested by the program, because they can learn how to take care of their environment, and know more about the dangers of single use plastic.
She and all of her friends learned to use reusable bags and bring their lunch in lunchbox to the school, so that they don’t need to buy snack in a single use plastic anymore.
