Mr. Viki Iswanto is managing a library that is serving up 2000 children from kindergarten, elementary, junior high and vocational school.
Unfortunately most of the books in the library are old and torn-apart. He encourages the students to upcycle and also has initiated competitions when students were given collage assignments concerning forest fires and other environmental issues in Indonesia.
Mr. Viki says: “The problem here is, that people still dispose their rubbish into the rivers. To overcome this problem, I taught our students to separate organic and non organic waste. And I hope that the Eco-Education program will give us ideas for more Eco-Activities.”
Generous donation from supporter like you have funded more than 80 Eco-Education Centers across Indonesia. Join the movement by donating today.
