063 / Bayeman, Pasuruan, East Java – School Eco-Library
Mr. Muhlis is running a boarding school and so far they only have a small number of books, mostly religion-related.
He is desperate seeing the children littering on the school compound even though the teachers try to instruct them not to do so. He hopes that our green books will help the kids appreciate their environment and the nature.
Mr. Muhlis says: “I would like to start raising their awareness of environmental issues from school age, because these children, once they finished their education here, would go home with a greener mindset and could teach their parents and people around them to love the environment.”
